Use your knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to improve our client-side web applications. You
will work with REST APIs and real-time data streams, the engineer for performance across browsers and strive for
the best user experience on a variety of devices. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA to
spec, build, test and deploy new features.
Responsibilities
● Build and deploy client-side web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of developed applications
● Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to build new features
● Identify and debug bottlenecks, triage bugs and improve performance for existing web applications
● Learn about new web technologies and discuss potential solutions to problems
Requirements
● 3+ years of experience writing client-side JavaScript and building complex layouts with CSS and HTML
● 1+ years of experience with at least one of React, Angular, VueJS or similar frameworks.
● Experience with modern browser technologies & RESTful web services
● Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff
● Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
● Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve
Bonus Points
● Academic background in Computer Science or Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree)
● 1+ years of experience with VueJS
● Experience in using ES6, Webpack/Grunt/Gulp, SCSS, PWAs
● Experience investigating and improving JavaScript performance and using browser dev-tools
● Experience in small startup environments
